Merry Christmas

Christmas

The past two months have been flat out as I hit the ground running in the Fleet Training Manager role at the now renamed Virgin Australia International airline. As such Infinidim has pretty much taken a back seat, unfortunately. However in the New Year I plan to return to working on articles for Infinidim. There [...]

Will the REAL Ken Pascoe … stop stealing my mail.

Ken Pascoe

Ken Pascoe is interfering with my life again. He stuffed me around no end 15 years ago and now, thanks to the limitations of technology, he’s doing it again.

I’m so glad that YOU were up the front, Ken.

This Can and Does happen. You're reading how ...

Recently, after commenting on the latest of Qantas’ engine troubles, I was asked to talk about what was an “interesting” in-flight moment for me. Despite this being one of the most common questions, I realised that I’ve never blogged about “interesting” flight moments – which of course immediately motivated me to do so. Funnily enough, [...]

V Australia – How it all began

V Australia began with just one aircraft – the Boeing 777-300ER VH-VOZ. As one of the delivery pilots of that aircraft’s first trans Pacific flight, I detailed that journey in a series of blogs for our internal company web site. Now I’ve finally managed to transfer them to Infinidim.

USDept
This entry is part 1 of 2 in the series US Visa Renewal

Having jumping through multiple hoops to get the original – you would think that having operated into the States every month for the last two years, renewing my visa would not be that difficult a process. Well ..

Renewing My US Visa

This entry is part 2 of 2 in the series US Visa Renewal

I have to renew my US Crew Visa – and do so in a hurry. Last time involved Guns and Security, Finger print and lining up … lots of lining up …

Commuting to Work

Commuting2

It seems like I’ve spent most of my life commuting to work. Of course I’m not alone in this, but while for most it’s a suburban to city drive, for some of my friends this means a walk/car/train/tram experience from Geelong to Melbourne, for me it’s a little more. Geelong to Sydney. This morning I rose at 6am to [...]
